Hello!
My name is Cassandra, I am a full-time mother and fourth year history student at the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV). I was born and raised in Chilliwack, and am currently still a resident. I am also an aspiring elementary school teacher and will be a third generation teacher in my family. I was inspired to create this website focused on special education programs in Chilliwack between 1960 and 1978 because of my Nana. She was Agnes North, the woman who spear-headed the Hospital Homebound Program. As well, my mother worked with children who required special education and extra supports so this topic is quite personal to me.
